Having graduated in Dance from the Ginasiano Dance School, the Escola Superior de Dança de Lisboa and the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona, and having worked for several years in the fields of dance and performance, both nationally and internationally, I became increasingly interested in developing participatory and collaborative performance practices which interweave various artistic and academic disciplines. For this reason, I worked with Aiko Kurosaki (JP/AT), Chto Delat (RUS), Alexandra Battaglia (PT), Olga Cunha (PT), Joana Mário (PT), Cléo Tabakian (FR), Kitana Project (ROU), Plural Dance Company / Rafael Alvarez (PT), ViennaSchoolOFF (AT), Clélia Colonna (FR/PT) and Costanza Givone (IT/PT).
Since the beginning of my professional career, I have been exploring themes linked to nature and the transformation of individual and collective habits.

In recent years, in a quest to create moments of collective connection through movement, I devoted myself to the practice, study and teaching of traditional folk dances from various countries.I have also been working on adapting the dance vocabulary to people with differently-abled bodies and, all ages, both in the context of classes/workshops as in performative contexts.

My current interests are inclusiveness, alternative governance processes and performative possibilities in dialogue with history.

I collaborate regularly with Coreto Associação Cultural, Nascente Cooperativa and Popolomondo, and recently founded the cultural cooperative ‘O Enxame e o Fuso’ (https://oenxameeofuso.wordpress.com/) with Clélia Colonna and Greta Wardega.
